Milo and I sat down and did some preliminary sketches and measurements. Were looking at building it in three pieces: the chassis, the outer shell, and the snow skirt. The skirt will cover the wheels and make it look like we're gliding over a snow drift, and the shell will be set on top of the chassis so that when we turn it can be tilted to one side or the other so that it looks like the craft is making banked turns.We also found this great costuming resource online called Rebel Legion that has a tutorial on making snowspeeder pilot costumes.
